Emma Rock

Emma Rock is an enthusiastic, hard working woman who loves being inspired by natures everyday joys and the rural countryside that we may sometimes overlook. Since lockdown Emma has been eagerly up-cycling her skills looking more into sustainable resources and figuring out her late granny's old sewing machine making masks and repairing old clothes, giving them a new lease of life. With her studio practice Jewellery & Object design Emma enjoys working with her hands and all sorts of metals and materials. Her process usually starts with photography branching out then to exploration with drawing and collage. Emma hopes to go on to work with young children focusing on play therapy within art that she researched a lot into during her critical cultures research project when 'Exploring the Importance of Touch in the Early Childhood Years and its Impact on Creativity'
