Professional teaching skills and ability: Communication, voice, terminology, personal qualities & pupils’ responses.
Loud voice great projection in a large room, checking on the homework and circling the class while the projector got set up
Classroom management: Pupil activity, pupil behaviour.
Didn’t have control on the classroom as much as she would’ve liked there were 3 girls who were disrupting other students that needed to be separated. Walking around the class before the class started worked well as students straight away took out their copies and had to have the homework out in front of them
Presentation of learning content: Delivery of lesson, use of resources, visual aids, support studies.
Projected her voice well, used powerpoint and a projector - related the class to everyday metaphors slinky, force goes to one side, lockey key chain, lose their shapes. Walked around the room
Effectiveness of planning: Clarity of intentions, quality of learning content, presentation.
Was confident in her class lesson and knew the subject well and was able to answer questions with clarity
Assessment and evaluation of pupils work in class.
Looked at homework before class and questioned students on the homework they had done. Questioned the students at the end of the class to see what the students had learnt
